Back in the day Bristol used to crack down on graffiti the same as any other city, but once Banksy started getting famous they started to change their mind, and now Bristol hosts the biggest graffiti festival in Europe.
They’ve not managed to get rid of the shitty tagging, but at least there’s outlets for the more artistic graffers.
Now my local station looks like this:
