Supposedly my neighborhood (Seward) is the most hipster neighborhood in the most hipster city (Minneapolis.) My husband has long hair in a pony tail, a nice full beard, wears mostly plaid flannel, is in touch with his feelings, walks or bikes to his job at a non profit, drinks craft beer, etc. Definitely a hipster. BUT he’s 53 - way too old to be a hipster.

I wouldn’t worry, as long as you don’t hear him say “How do you do, fellow hipsters?”

Also: Hi, fellow Sewardite! (for real) (not a hipster though)
