He is a relatively intelligent, calculating dictator who will do whatever he feels is required to extend his empire. Sure, he lies, cheats, steals, and murders almost without hesitation. But don’t underestimate him: more than anything else, he subverts, corrupts, and manipulates. Stalin would simply kill you – Putin will kill your soul as well.
