It’s not difficult to get your hands on more linens. Hotels often will leave carts full of linens out in the open, or will have their linen closets in the hallway that are easily accessible, or sometimes they’ll have extra linens in the room itself in a closet, people hardly mess with them as there’s no need to. Plus it’s also not uncommon for guests to ask for extra linens for whatever reason, so he could’ve gotten his hands on those sheets with not a whole lot of effort
