I have no problem you expressing yourself to other adults.
But when one is in PUBLIC, it isn’t just adults unless you are at specific location that only has adults (eg a bar) but even then you’re in public getting to there. Of course public isn’t child proof; I made no suggestion is was nor should be.
The first point is just establishing there is a level of politeness while in public. Maybe “I eat ass” doesn’t trigger your tipping point of being inappropriate. Honestly, it doesn’t really tip mine to the point of me being upset about it, but it does tip it enough I wouldn’t actually put that on my car or wear a shirt with it. But even if that isn’t the tipping point for you, you most likely DO have a tipping point where one will go, “Well, that’s inappropriate.” (And note - again - repeated said the guy shouldn’t get a ticket for it or anything.)
Or not. Some people have no fucks given and would be fine if we all ran around naked waving Confederate flags and screaming dirty limericks. Cool, cool. I’ve seen them at Disney World where they make grown ass adults cover up tattoos or turn shirts inside out.
But the main point, and relates directly to the portion you quoted, is that just because this offends or upsets someone, doesn’t necessarily mean they are “mindless bible thumping conservatives.” Nearly all of us have a tipping point on what one finds offense or inappropriate. Just because MY level and HER level and HIS level are different, doesn’t mean anyone is WRONG, just that we are DIFFERENT and have different sensibilities. It doesn’t make one a “mindless conservative” any more than it makes one a “snowflake” or a “cuck”.
Just encouraging some mutual respect among people.
