I lean towards straight on the Kinsey scale but if you checked my collection of art (deco era and otherwise) you’d also find many “sketches of nude men and boys”.
Not saying he didn’t have a predilection or that he was a good person or even innocent, but fuck this moralizing/shaming over erotica.
It’s really difficult to separate the odd, broken, shitty man he was from the tabloid flourishes. They don’t even need to exaggerate! But yet they do.
