Ah, that’s unfortunate. If that’s the case (not that I don’t believe you), then yeah, I don’t think I’ll be quite so willing to give them the benefit of the doubt in the future.
I’m just always wary of painting a whole group with a single brush, but it sure sounds like these guys already have a few coats…
