It might be better for humans than the fracking and oil well waste they spread on roads elsewhere, I guess.
For the cars? Dunno. My mechanic says that ever since my state started pouring drilling waste on the roads, he sells a lot more brake rotors and suspension parts. It rots 'em right away.
Cheaper for the state, more expensive for the people. Ka-ching! The older your car, the more it costs you. Health issues aside, that smells just like another tax, one regressive enough to make a Koch brother smile.
