I have a wool cloak for my ren fair costume. I bought it in high school, because i figured it would cover up my shitty costume and make me look better. But I have gone caroling in it!
I see women get to wear short capes in the fall/winter. Sorta poncho like. They also get to wear cool boots that look like they are from an elven woods or a back water space port.
