My friends and I in college had a variation similar to telephone we called the paper game:
- Each person in a group writes a sentence on a piece of paper, and passes it.
- The next person has to draw the sentence, then fold the sentence over so only their drawing is visible, then passes it.
- Next person writes what they think the picture is showing, folds over the picture, passes it.
- Repeat alternating writing and drawing with only the previous contribution visible until the papers are full
- Have a laugh at how different the starts and finishes are
