Heck yeah, that sounds handy. It looks like you can get the Gerber Gator hatchet/saw for around $40 on Amazon. I wonder how their steel holds up with the current model. 20 years ago I don’t think it was as much of a concern, but a lot of supposedly stainless steel rusts like cast iron these days. I wouldn’t think Gerber would have that issue, though.
