"Nerds For Her" unites fandoms behind Hillary Clinton

So, I gather you don’t like her, and are willing to be shrill about it in public. I am so sorry you need to feel like you have to be inspired by a candidate in order to feel enthused, but running for President really is more like a job interview than not.

None of which is particularly relevant when it comes to getting 270 votes. (Last time I checked, Nate Silver puts Johnson’s odds at less than 1/10th of one percent. Stein isn’t even on the board, and might not even be on the ballot in all 50 states. None of which changes the fact that the third party candidates are awful, of course.)

That this race is as close as it is says a lot about the quality of those polled and the media’s handling of matters.

Really? Compared to how many offices which go Red? Or Blue? How significant are, say, the Greens at the local level when considered against Republican or Democratic candidates?

(ETA: Also, Sanders might not be a Democrat now, but during the primaries, he was at least as much a Democrat as I was.)
