Yeah, that is what I was thinking too. Hellboy can kind of stand outside of things and I am fine with him collaborating with rather than appropriating. I am pretty sure that there is something in the published works from Japanese mythology (but I can’t remember for sure) in there already and I think that it would be better to have that kind of thing be a collaboration with people from the culture
