As you were saying that no one cares until it affects them. The challenge there is that they have the sense that they can do something about it through voting, but they don’t know where to go.
No one provides the information as to when/where to vote. Nor do they know where to go to get that information. Sure they can go online but most adults aren’t that tech savvy, and young people haven’t taken on the responsibility of civil participation.
