Nike marketing gets it 100% wrong

Nike consistently sponsors runs that take place in Venice, and this group of ads seems to be centered on a recent 5K.

There’s also the local Venice Run Club which does runs on Wednesday and Saturday and has done for years, including 5Ks.

So agreed, odd juxtaposition out of context - but i’d say they probably knew that they’d hit a niche target audience, even if only on the day.
