Your interpretation is still too kind. Saying that Nintendo was valued higher than it should have been completely glosses over the fact that what really happened is that for a moment, people said Nintendo was valuable, so it was.
For a moment, the rational part of capitalist markets was exposed as just a speculative system where value has no rational measure and or actors.
