I don’t think we can vote the cop-sympathizing DAs out of office fast enough. That is, I think virtually every newly-elected DA will cave the very first time he runs into a police-committed homicide.
We need a systemic change whereby cops have to play by the same rules as the rest of us.
- Drastically reduce the scope of qualified immunity
- Review every use of force as an assault
- Review every killing as murder
