It was like that in Melbourne two weeks ago when we had a smoke problem but the suppliers caught up with demand and a pharmacy close to my work was selling them, maximum two per purchaser.

Grain of truth in that. Beer can go skunky when exposed to light. It’s why most beer isn’t sold in clear bottles. Corona is.
