So at least there’s one part of the plan that wasn’t a failure. Oregon was a better choice of venue for her premeditated murder than most other states.
(I’m joking, I have no idea if this would really be charged as murder 1, despite the literal definition. I realize charging decisions are complicated and strategic. I just thought it was funny that this case has the most premeditation of any murder I can remember hearing of.)
