This may be unpopular, but:
I think pigeons are gorgeous. Since birds can see into the ultraviolet, the shimmery-purple parts around their necks must be absolutely resplendent to other pigeons…
(Yes, yes, I know, and a ‘here-I-am’ to hawks.)
