"OK Boomer" comes to the NZ Parliament and makes all the right people angry

The weird thing is to me…again my own personal view, not speaking for anyone else…I have found generational tags to always be fluidic. That is, both my sisters and I are technically Gen X (oldest is 67, middle 68, me 73). The middle definitely acts and identifies with the Boomer generation; my oldest and I both identify and act as Gen Xers. Its obviously not and never will be an exact science…I assume I am making sense and not saying anything radical or new here.

So…when I think of the phrase “OK Boomer” or the “Whatever Millennial” (or whatever the dismissive to millennias phrase is)…I see it not as about age, but entirely about ideology.

I fail to see how it is even an argument within this thread. Maybe as a gen-xer I am too “meh, sticks and stones, call me whatever you want, my life will go on”…or perhaps I am just to snarky and sarcastic to feel one way or another.

I saw this gif the other day on reddit regarding Gen Xers watching Millennials and Boomers fight…and it really does describe my feelings.

On the other hand when someone “insults” my generation I react with what I call…the Judd…
