I dunno how I feel about Benchmades. My brother swears by them. But the steel doesn’t seem any better quality than the cheaper knives he carries and he’s broken three or four of the damned things despite very light use. The Gerbers he owns have made it through multiple tours in Iraq and Afghanistan unphased, but the Benchmades don’t seem to last 6 months stateside. And they’re several times the price.
