These are important skills, regardless of who’s in the White House. I think President Trump is a disgrace to our nation, and I continue to admire President Obama greatly. But the Obama administration gave us many reasons (whistleblower prosecutions, Espionage Act prosecutions, Edward Snowden, and – hey – remember Black Lives Matter?) to want these abilities.
This isn’t a red versus blue thing. It’s just good citizenship, keeping the frightful powers of the federal government in check.
