Lots of stuff gets lost in the static, I think: this wasn’t just a tremendous waste of resources, rather it was probably a training exercise for operating that many moving parts, so that when it comes time to round up fleeing dissenters cough I mean terrorists, these cops will be that much more prepared to do their duty.
