I don’t think that is weird. Prisoners are afforded libraries (although that can be taken away for bad behavior). In general, I think some form of Internet access is a public right, although public providers such as pubic libraries can rightfully filter some content.
What I find ironic about the Bundy gang’s complaint is that, according to their weird interpretation of the Constitution, the development of the Internet was unconstitutional. So, yes, they along with all other prisoners should be given Internet access. But we should also highlight their hypocrisy and laugh at them.
