I actually watched the first part of The Party once, but I’m not enough of a Sellers head to watch him slowly bumble around for 90minutes.
Maybe The Party picks up at some point but I had to change the channel.

You didn’t miss anything. Truly awful movie. I chalked it up to being brilliant involves taking risks, which means sometimes you are going to have spectacular failures.
