Probably not the same but I’ve been using Zamzar since pretty much their beginning back in 2006 for converting everything and anything from documents to video.
So if you tell it convert a video file to a PDF, do you get a flip book?
I used Rmd + knitr for a long time and have now switched to qmd + quarto. My IDE (R Studio) supports both, but to me it seemed that many defaults in Quarto are better, and that switching output formats is easier. For slides, I had not yet tried xarigan so directly tried out revealjs which is nice.
