Southaven isn’t really Mississippi. It’s a suburb of Memphis, where the majority of Southaven residents are from. It’s one of those suburbs that all the white people originally fled to after desegregation in an attempt to avoid the black people (said in a whisper after glancing around to make sure no one is looking
