The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission posted on Facebook that the driver told officers the parts were from an alligator he hunted a few years ago with his uncle, but officers “said the smell made them believe otherwise.”

I smell a new Carl Hiaasen novel. Or a touching short film about a boy who receives the gift of a baby alligator that’s missing one foot.
