I have travelled to the green coast on business several times and have never heard of this island. The funny thing is that the Japanese cat island is more famous here than an island in our backyard.
I think that the large number of islands and islets, most of which are uninhabited, in the Ilha Grande bay must be the reason for these secrets to be secret.

At first glance, the smaller animal looks like a spider, but gripped to the head of the Mozambican long‑fingered bat was actually a six-legged, wingless bat fly. This bloodsucking parasite moves around on its host, but usually sits on the lower back, out of reach. When a bat is in flight, the fly may sit on its host’s head instead.
