OK, so the latest twist to this stupid drama is that while both Willie and Jerry Brown deny ever experiencing any kind of unusual helicopter ride with Donald Trump, a different, unrelated Black politician from California says they once had a harrowing helicopter ride together.
So the best guess is a combination of Trump’s normal aggrandizement mixed with ongoing cognitive decline and a big dollop of casual racism.
“Willie is the short Black guy living in San Francisco,” Holden said. “I’m a tall Black guy living in Los Angeles.
