Never mind the taint behind that whole story.
Trump was trying to develop real estate in Los Angeles. He flew the State Senator for that district out to NY and then took him on a helicopter ride to his Atlantic City casino, ostensibly to curry favor by showing him a good time.
If I did that shit in my job (especially with a government official), that’d be called bribery and corruption. I’d likely be fired.
