Let’s concentrate millions of people into a petri dish and kill six thousand of them is not how you control an epidemic. But it’s good to be reminded from time to time that panicky people will cling to irrational non-solutions offered by the same authoritarians that criminalize discussing their mismanagement of the problem in the first place.

I just came back here to say this footage was eerily similar to the scene from Terry Gilliam’s Brazil, but that had a very different ending. Both the scene, and the film.
