Given how many corporations have had their pet legislators manipulate laws such that small businesses (or personal growing) is very difficult or illegal, it honestly wouldn’t surprise me to learn that’s what’s going to happen here. According to our current labor laws, kids as young as 12 could work on such farms relatively free of restriction. This isn’t anything unusual (for Wisconsin), just applying standard Wisconsin Employment of Minors guidelines.
(These are the laws that our state GOP want loosened, by the way.)
