Really? I think they are both joke parties. Plus, I’d love to some annoying Democrats in clown makeup. I think both parties have severely degenerated into something that’s not even close to their original ideologies. And in nature, when that happens, it usually means the degenerating object is dying.
Other countries have more than two parties (if they have two at all), not that that’s a guarantee things will run smoothly. I don’t know. I half-seriously label myself as a “Socialist Libertarian (or vice-versa)” because I feel people should help take care of each other when it comes to food, shelter, et al (the socialist part), and with the government taking care of the infrastructure. And I know, that’s very simplistic and sounds nice and easy, but it’s not. (I’m not so ignorant that I can’t realize that I’m ignorant.) If I knew all the answers’ I’d be at the Mayo Clinic - does this look like the Mayo Clinic?
