I take your point. Perhaps we can simply agree that he spent his long life trying to stand up for the powerless against governmental forces, and was a man who cared about his fellow humans and who sacrificed personal fame and fortune many times to advocate for unpopular causes which he believed were right. He positively impacted many lives.
