I had a flatmate who wasn’t the best at critical thinking. She had a salt lamp that she said dehumidified the air. One morning she proudly told me that there was no condensation on her window that morning so the salt lamp must have worked. I informed her it had been a warm night, hence the lack of condensation. I’m sure she still believes they are magical.
