Scientists begin investigating possible health impacts of e-cigarettes

Not really. Terminology often sticks around long after it is applicable and does not indicate a bias. You still “dial” a phone number and “hang up” when you are done. You “tune in” to a TV show and “turn the channel”, announcers will say “Don’t touch that dial”, even YouTube is named “Tube”. You send an e"mail". You still “record” or “tape” a show. You “roll up” a car window and the motor has X “horsepower”, in electric cars people still “step on the gas”. You “cut, copy, and paste” text. You “erase” things. “B-Sides” are the outakes songs from an album, and “mix-tapes” are custom collections of songs. A collection of changing pictures is a “slideshow”. I could go on all day… Pointing out that electronic “cigarettes” have no “smoke” is missing the point that they are still called cigarettes, they aren’t technically cigarettes at all, they are electronic-chemical-vaporizers.
