Moral coward remains a moral coward. Not a surprise, really.
To be fair, I’m sure he’s said things like this all along. Also to be fair, he’s still not saying it publicly, which is the only part that counts. He doesn’t even get credit for being “too little, too late.” He’s still just a tool.
