Our kids were about 2 years old before they were bigger than their cat-brother, Max, who stood about 28" tall and weighted about 24 pounds, lean. He didn’t have Zeus’s fluff, but when a “normal”-sized human was holding him, he certainly looked photo-shopped in.
We laid down some fairly clear rules for him and, as a rescue, he knew they were minor requests in exchange for the Best Home Ever. We never once caught him on the table or benches.
He was such a good boy. ![]()
I hear you, but Max loved his monkey-brother enough to never lay a paw on him even though the interactions were sometimes not his ideal.
And he also got to teach the monkey kids a few things
