I only have a few sets of chopsticks I will put in the dishwasher - ones with a wide enough end that they won’t go through the utensil basket grid. They are a nice dark hardwood with very straight grain and I think they’ll outlast most of my forks. ![]()
Likewise, I have some hickory-handled steak knives that I refinished myself that I don’t hesitate to run through the dishwasher…points down, of course!
