I’m sorry, what? Seriously? Seriously?
I dunno… He’s certainly not creepier than a lot of the trollies we get on here from time to time. What I’ve seen is some embarrassing sexual admissions (don’t give a fuck, and fuck Gizmodo for publishing it), dunderheaded objectification of women models, that he fudged documents so he could be employed at a minimum wage job until he had enough money to buy insurance (I really don’t care and I laugh at you if you think this is uncommon), and the fact that he believed Zimmerman was acting rationally (I do care, but this viewpoint is not sufficiently uncommon among the ill-informed to be exceptional). He went so far as to call Zimmerman a shit bird, so he’s not beyond all nuance. For all we know he’s susceptible to reason on this subject. Others who’ve picked through his Reddit remarks seem to come to the conclusion that he seems mostly reasonable beyond the dirt you can mine up from the depths where you seek it out. Remember that they went through as much as they could and dug up the worst of all he’s said.
Could he still be an absolute asshole? Maybe. But there are people on this very BBS we wouldn’t call creeps that stack up pretty much the same.
