I’ve found that I can’t watch Firefly any more. Adam Baldwin and GamerGate ruined it for me.
I’m normally one of the people who argues that you should keep a performer’s personal life and beliefs separate from their work, and not let one impact your opinions on the other… but I’ve now learned that I personally can’t live up to my own rhetoric in that regard. Which maybe helps me better understand the point of view of people on the other side of that argument.
So when viewed in this very specific way (and only in this very specific way), one could perhaps argue that Adam Baldwin has made me a more tolerant person.
