In tier-1 and tier-2 US cities, we are talking about prices of apartments, or micro-homes. 2-3 bedroom. Million bucks plus. Woot.

Cry me a river. Real people commute, usually an hour or so in the bay. San Leandro, Pleasanton, San Jose, etc can be more affordable. You can’t buy a garden shack for less than $10^6 in Palo Alto. Still, I wish Google, Facebook, and Twitter would all fall into the ocean.
