Sows at US factory farm fed blended baby pigs to guard against viral outbreak

It’s not just quicker, it’s humane and has next to nil failures which is why it’s used.

I don’t know about the rules that govern how kosher animals must be raised but I know that we in Australia sell a shit-tonne of cows to various islamic countries in the region specifically so they can be slaughtered under halal regulations. Many of these cattle (live export) die on the ships going over there just so some clowns can have their quaint little godwank, and then to add insult to injury (or should I say, injury to death) there have been many stories coming out of Indonesia, Egypt and Jordan about how the animals are being slaughtered in torturous inhumane ways.

WARNING: These video show graphic animal cruelty but demonstrate why I think simpleton turds who expect us to respect their deluded fantasy regarding specific slaughter methods that invariably guarantee there’s more chance for the animal to suffer can go fuck themselves and know that the time for society to just accept exceptions for nonsense beliefs is coming to an end.

No. There’s no reason you should assume animals which are destined to be killed under halal or kosher practices would have a better life, in fact you should assume the opposite in the case of live export.

PS: Factory farming sounds terrible, but it actually depends how it’s managed as to whether it’s cruel. The other reality about our world is that we need these large scale food production methods since there’s no way we’d have enough land to produce enough food for everyone to survive on if everything was done like it used to be.
