Yeah, they were totally not goth. Alaska was aesthetically goth (and still is) but her music was new wave or glam rock. Dark themes but with funny and upbeat lyrics.
PD: She was part of “La Bola de Cristal” a Spanish childrens TV show that took the idea of Sesame Street and added WHAT IF THAT BUT PUNK AND ANTICAPITALIST?
