It is my belief that Spike Jones is the Grandfather of Industrial music. Watch videos of what and how he played. Any found object could be an instrument. And yet, he is almost totally unknown by most of the kids today. (My daughter got a serious indoctrination of weird music as a child including Spike Jones, Stan Freberg, Weird Al, Tom Lehrer, and more. She helped infect the other children.)
