Either you don’t use many plugins or you haven’t updated what you use in many a year.
Running Pro Tools Digi 01 with a full suite of plug-ins. I can run 24 full audio tracks but I am limited on the full use of plugins due to processing limitations. Thus the use of innovating mix down techniques. Sure, it’s no Ableton Live but I get much use out of it for my initial investment over 15 years ago. Which is a lot in today’s disposable tech.
Cant even remember which plugin format PTD01 used. Mix down isn’t actually that hard even on older processors since you can always bound FX tracks before final mix to reduce processor load.
OS X peaked with 10.6.8 and it’s been downhill ever since.

Bavaria has 13 public holidays a year, with 11 on a weekday in 2016 and 12 in 2017. not even the need to work for the government!
