Here’s a tip: Just because a Democratic President does something doesn’t make it part of a liberal cause. George W. Bush was a supporter of immigration reform, that doesn’t mean immigration reform is suddenly a key part of the conservative agenda.
I asked your opinion on Glass-Steagle. Since you’ve already stated that its repeal was a critical factor in the housing/credit bubble, it seems that either:
A) You support aggressive Federal regulation of the financial sector, or
B) You oppose aggressive Federal regulation of the financial sector, but acknowledge that doing away with it has serious negative consequences.
