A thousand fist bumps to you!
Actually what would be great would be getting that logo as a morale patch. I’d fix it on my scout bag which already has “770” unit patches. Ideally get it altered so as to wear a big brim Borsalino
(to the peanut gallery that last bit is a Jewish insider reference that isnt worth explaining)
Seeing how musical genres evolve, meld and give birth to new styles or how songs from one group of people get re-versioned by another is far more fun than the profitable punditry of outrage.

I wonder what the Cultural Gatekeepers of the Boston Kimono Kerfuffle would have made of this:
Traditional Japanese woodblock prints but based on western heavy metal iconography. Do the Japanese have “no right to these images”?
My personal favorite is Babymetal Momoiro Clover Z & KISS
(Yes I used this in the music as theft thread but it also seemed appropriate here)

There was a guy doing really neat Japanese print styled works at a comic con last year. I really need to pick up the one he did on Boba Fett.
But he also took some of his works and sent them to Japan where a master print maker made actual wood cut plates. So you can get the standard digitally printed stuff pretty cheap, but the wood block prints were much more. Really neat stuff keeping the art form alive with the fusion of old and new.

Read the “about” in that website, not many wood carvers left alive now.
I guess not.
Here is the guy I saw. I guess the actual carver is a white guy living in Tokyo who learned the traditional methods.
The Fett print hasn’t been made into a wood cut, but I’d have to go for it if they did. IMHO their prices aren’t that bad.

Yeah I remember seeing this. Didn’t make me pull out the credit card but its good that David Bull is doing something in this form for sure.
